The books this month all have one thing in common: they were all written by young writers. Emma Kallok, for instance, wrote The Diary of Chickabiddy Baby when she was 10, and Gem when she was 11. Demon in My View is Amelia Atwater-Rhodes's second book, written at age 15. The young writers of the anthology You Hear Me? range in age from 12 to 20. And, finally, there is Katie.com. Katherine Tarbox was 13 when the events described in this book happened, and 17 when she wrote and published it. But Katie.com requires special attention here, because it is also about Internet safety - and at its heart, Internet safety is what the ChildWatch.com web site is all about.
