People often make a big deal about what to read at the beach.
I took some books to the beach once. It rained and ruined
them, so now I prefer to build sand castles instead. For beach
reading of a different sort, try Elizabeth Van Steenwyk's
social history of beaches, Let's Go the Beach. Also,
I thought we could check in again on the unlucky Baudelaire
children of Lemony Snicket's "Series of Unfortunate Events."
And Johnny Mutton is the unlikely – but very likeable
– hero of The Many Adventures of Johnny Mutton.
